Back to Blogging

It's been awhile since I've updated this blog, but I'm back. I started a new job and got pretty involved with the new circumstances and the new routine.

My place of work is about a fifty-minute ride from my home, which, under normal weather conditions, is a very pleasant way to start the day. Riding a motorcycle through the peak hour traffic is a very different story from the frustrations of being stuck in a car. However, the past two weeks have been very wet ones here - not ideal for motorcycling! The occasional rain storms don't bother one too much, but after a couple of weeks of getting wet, it gets to be a bit much! Anyway, thankfully, it seems to be passing and I look forward to an enjoyable, fresh ride tomorrow morning under clear blue skies!

During my absence, Zimbabwe still hasn't found a solution to their power-sharing agreement, the ANC is still split and not too much has changed in the local situation. I certainly hope they weren't waiting for me to settle down and get going again. Well, I'm back to watching you guys again, so perhaps you'd like to move forward a little more positively now?

Kenya helped to produce an American president - no mean feat. Perhaps they should be invited to get more involved in the Zimbabwean negotiations?
