Here's a useful web site, especially for students, though not restricted to them. SparkNotes, at www.sparknotes.com, provides free online study guides. They cover a variety of subjects, including literature, science, maths, history, art, writing, film, poetry, philosophy and a dedicated section to Shakespeare. Easy downloads and quick access to the essential facts could make your - or your child's - life just that much easier.
I know that when I was at school (at a time when today's history was still "current affairs"!) I relied heavily on study guides, especially for the inimitable Shakespeare, whom, I might add, I enjoyed immensely.
I'll include a permanent link to SparkNotes under the heading of Education, for your convenience, when you want to link to it in future.

Yes, I have fond memories of "Cliff's Notes" which came in every variety under the sun. But they cost quite a bit! Study guides for free--yeah!
Being involved in education myself, a resource like this is always welcome for those little extras not always covered in the relevant curriculum. Thanks, I've bookmarked this one.
Hi,
