Praying......

I don't know where this picture originated from (one of many "chain" emails, I suspect), so I hope I'm not infringing someone's copyright - but it's one of my favourite pictures of all time!

It warms my heart and puts a smile on my face every time I see it.

Very nice picture. This would look great on one of those 'new arrival' sites people set up when their children are born.

Mike, that is the nicest picture I have seen in a long time, it goes straight to my heart.

When my son was about that age (and that blond) he got himself very busy one day while I was spacing out. He trotted from the playroom to the kitchen to the dining room and then back again for about fifteen minutes before I came up for air and noticed what he was doing. He'd gathered several stuffed animals and set them up at the dining room table for an intimate meal. Each animal was in a dining room chair pushed close to the table, and the table was set with a complement of toy dishes and foods. He'd just begun to prepare the meal when I suggested we move everyone to the kitchen where they'd all be much more relaxed and comfortable. Then I helped him serve, eat and clean up.

@sailor: You're right; I wonder if it is on one of those sites somewhere. Anyway, whoever started the ball rolling, I'm glad they did.

@ Janet and Penny: Thanks - moments like that are better shared!

@feefifoto: That is a very cute story! I can't help thinking that our most golden memories will always turn out to be ones involving our kids.

In March 2007, one of my first blog posts was entitled "Candy, Officer?". It was about my daughter trying to bribe a traffic officer! It's under my Archives, if you're interested.

Wow this is awesome! I love it! It gave me the inspiration to suggest to the hubby that we pray kneeling down. This shot is a humbling one - a gentle reminder that surely tugs the heart. Thanks for dropping by too! God bless! ;-)
