I see that bloggers are having a field day with Jesse Jackson's remarks - and rightly so!
On this day of the great Nelson Mandela's birthday, I can't help feeling that it wouldn't do any harm if these auspicious leaders would take the time to learn from the demeanour of this great statesman, Nelson Mandela. Perhaps one of the great lessons they would learn is that if one's love and empathy for your people is as deep and genuine as is his, it would be evident in one's behaviour, public or private.

Shades of Irvin Khoza, except Jesse jackson does not have Big Brother (aka the HRC) breathing down his neck insisting that he apologise.
In the United States, the First Amendment protects free speech.
This is the real problem: our lack of freedom in South Africa to express ourselves as we please.
