Parent/Baby-Toddler Groups and Activities - Jozikids

JOZIKIDS was recently invited by eTV's Great Expectations to participate in one of their shows called "Adventures with Baby". We did extensive research to find out what there is for babies/toddlers (under 2yrs) on the site and want to share our findings with you in this issue.


PARENT/BABY-TODDLER GROUPS & ACTIVITIES
You'll find parent/child interactive weekly classes, baby massage groups, special needs work or specific activities such as music, sport, movement, gymnastics and horseriding. GENERAL Toptots has franchises throughout Gauteng. They offer 20% off fees for new members.
The Wendyhouse in Emmerentia/Craighall Park offers 20% off fees for bringing a new member
Toptots Special Needs in Cresta offers 10% off a 4 week course with a Jozikids voucher.
Balamory House and Baby Balamory in Lyndhurst.
GYMNASTICS Eagles Tumbling club in Benoni, offers 1 free introductory lesson
Boksburg gym and Tumbling Club
HORSERIDING Shumbashaba Therapeutic Riding Centre in Diepsloot works with kids from 16 months old.
MASSAGE Baby Massage and Babygymin Bryanston and Midrand.
MUSIC Be Sharp Beetlesin Northcliff offers either first 3 lessons free or a free CD with a Jozikids voucher.
MOVEMENT Clamber Club operates throughout Gauteng.



BABY CARE
Looking for babysitters or au pairs check out support-baby care or support-child care
For playgroups browse for schooling-nursery schools. This section is brand new. Watch it grow.

Flutterbies Nursery School in Randpark Ridge is offering a 50% discount on registration fees on receipt of the Jozikids voucher.


BABY/TODDLER PRODUCTS
Under to shop-baby/toddlers you will find anything from shoes to clothing, furniture, prams, cots, high chairs, linen, accessories, nappies, baby hampers and even a toilet training urinal called Weeman.


INDOOR PLAYGROUNDS
Most of these indoor playgrounds have a special area for little ones with soft toys and padding. You will find more indoor venues in a section on the site called to to go-action-indoors
The Corner House in Kempton Park offers free oros and chips on presentation of the Jozikids voucher.
Enchanted Forest Indoor Play Centre in Edenvale offers 2 free kids for every 15 children at a party.
Jimmy Jungle Indoor Play Area is in Fourways.
Jungle Rumble is in Mulbarton South East Johannesburg.
Kids Wonder World is in Boksburg on the East Rand.



RESTAURANTS WITH PLAYGROUNDS
We have a long list of family friendly restaurants on JOZIKIDS in a section called to eat-restaurants. Many of these have facilities for little ones like high chairs, enclosed playgrounds, changing facilities and kiddies menues. We have selected a few from this list. If you visit this section on the site, you are sure to find a few more.
Mugg and Bean Broadacres , Fourways offers kids a free buffet breakfast on weekends.
Frog Terrace Tea Garden is in Fourways.
The Secret Garden is in Fourways.
River Cafe is in Parkmore.
Mikes Kitchen is in Blackheath, Cresta.
Stonehaven on the Vaal river.
Nde Bushe Family Restaurant is in Fourways.


PARTY VENUES OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
There is a section on the site which lists wonderful party venues that open their doors to the public during the week at a nominal fee. You will find a list of these in a section on the site called to go-playgrounds-party venues. Make sure to find out what they have for little ones if you want to take your baby/toddler with you.


MAGAZINE
A new magazine for parents has joined Jozikids. Its called Raisingkids and they are offering significantly reduced subscription rates for the month of May.
